hi,

i want to capture the image from a webcam and store that in my system(Database),how can i detect the device from my java application so that it can capture the image from a webcam

Solution 2

You can use webcam-capture project. There are several examples in the source code which you can use, e.g. how to capture image from web camera and save it to file.
