CD DVD Autoplay with C#

Dear All;
I've developed an application with DEVX utilities i want to start it when the CD/DVD inserted into computer's cd-rom, without installing that appication is it possible? How?

Ok. In that case do tell me once you succeed. I will never use it. I would not prefer any software to work on my system without my knowledge.

Even if you are making some useful application, behavior is of a virus/trojan. I will stay away.

without installing that application how you will start that application... to start that application, it should be there in your machine right...

Solution 1

Create a file "Autorun.inf" containing this

[autorun] 
open=YourExecutableFile.exe

and put it in the root directory of your CD.

Some PCs (those with activated autorun functionality) will run your executable.
