Problem with DropDownList SelectedIndexChanged event

Hello friends,

I am using Ajax ModelPopUpExtender inside a User Control,and I used One DropDown in PopUp.Problem which I am facing is when I select any Item from DropDown List ,It's "selectedIndexChanged" event is not firing even when AutoPostBack="True".
I checked using breakpoint,but it is not beaking at that event.

Friends please help me.

Is it inside UpdatePanel??

yes it is inside update panel....Should I remove that update [panel.

I also checked by removing update panel...still the same problem.

have you defined a Panel inside the updatePanel?
