Minimising Application(parent) but not other form

How to minimise a form which is a parent and i need a form to run over this minimised parent form.
pls help me out in this

Solution 1

Instead of minimising the parent, you could set its opacity to 0 - thus it will be "invisible".
Or do you actually want a "splash screen" which gets closed when the main form is shown?
