Set Header Images on the Master page

Hi I am using css on the page and i am trying to set header images jpg file on the master page as a main header

My css is:

#mainHeader{ width:100%; margin:0 ; height:148px; position:relative; background:url(images/tn_1011814792.gif) repeat-x top right;}

the problem is . This images files comes again and again . and i want to set it on the top and the left side .
please correct my this script

Not clear: This images files comes again and again . and i want to set it on the top and the left side .

You use 'repeat-x top right' and you say it comes again and again. You asked/wrote so.
