Alternative to Report Viewer

Hello,

I am developing a front-end .NET application for MySQL that will contain
multiple reports. Since I don't want to use Crystal reports to create the reports
and I don't have a licensed version of MSSQL, I was wondering if anyone knows of
any .NET alternatives to ReportViewer and CrystalViewer, maybe for Pentaho or BIRT?

Solution 1

You can use Sql Reporting services 2005/2008 (R2 prefer) depending upon your choice, its free with Sql Express with Advanced Services. and for Client reports you even don't need that i.e. rdlc
