Again one of these: What is the best ... questions. If your question could be answered in 10 lines, everybody would have switched to that platform by now. The fact that there are multiple platforms indicates, that each one of them has some strength in certain areas. It would fill books to weigh the pros and cons of each of these platforms. So just start with one that you are comfortable with and try to learn about the other in time. After some ten or twenty years of experience you will be able to answer your question, ... or perhaps not.

Asking which language is the best in a computer forum is like asking several religious leaders to identify the best religion.

A good summary of computer languages in the industry can be found here[^]. [I note that you asked which platform is best, but gave languages as examples...]

Thanks.
Hi,

You could always do a quick Google search and see what comes up. To save you time though and out of pure curiosity I done the same thing myself and had a quick browse through the first article that came up

Hot 2013 IT Skills

Personally speaking everyone has their own preference when it comes to dev and all languages have their own positives and negatives.

Short term, have a dig in to each and see if anything grabs your attention and then run with it.

Long Term you'll be able to pick up new languages without too much hassle. Once you have a strong understanding of the fundamentals along with some of the more popular design patterns you can pick anything up with a little work, google searching and asking questions on here.

Cheers,

All these platforms are good to work with.
Infact its not really about what are good to work with, but rather what you are comfortable in.

Just choose the one that you are most comfortable with.
