Page Refreshing Problem

I am using ASP.net with vb coding...

when i true the AutoPostBack property of Dropdownlist, my whole page is refreshing...

i just want to refresh my dropdownlist selectedIndexChange event only...
plz. Help me out....

use ajax update panel before dropdownlist and you will get your desired goal.
