Pointer concept doubt

I have developed an examination system ie 20 to 40 system connected via LAN

I dont know how to configure that sqlserver database to be accessed via LAN from a database that is ¬
located in server.
what all should i do .
first i have placed the sqlserver database in the server and then went to sqlserver in that system ¬
and ENABLED TCP/IP connection in protocols then what should all i do ?
please can some one help me out

Please do not edit your question that already has answers to ask a completely different question. It makes the question and answer out of sync. If you have a different question, and your current verbiage is not a question and could easily be answered with a simple google search, then ask your question in a new posting.
