Can I block/disable login until I execute my application?

You can change

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Shell

from explorer.exe to your own software, and your software will be started automatically.

Use your software to run a certain code and then start Explorer.exe from there.

I hope this would work for you. :)

This is the fourth such question I have seen today. Either one person is posting under different aliases, or someone has blogged about this and got people excited.

Nope. You can write a service that runs without anyone logged in, though.
