Problem inserting UK pound symbol (£) in RTF format

Hello I have a problem.

I want to insert the £ symbol from a datagridview into a rich edit text box. I successfully copied data from gridview into the rich edit text box. But I am getting proglem when I copy the £ symbol.

Please, somebody help me.

You can insert a Unicode character in an RTF by using a \u marker. So, to get a pound sterling sign, try \u00A3 .

What i can explain is this that when i enter £ in the rich edit box i see 'a3 in the rtf text.
