We are working on Ntier architecture ...we are going to implement security concepts for my project...Please help me on this certificate creation for windows server 2008...

We are facing the problem with only 2008 server...previously we worked on windows 2003 server its working fine ..now we need to migrate my project in 2008 server ...please help me out on this.

Solution 1

Certificate creation can be done entirely outside IIS, and simply import the certificate.

If you need to do it inside IIS the instructions from microsoft are here.
