Hello,
did anyone know a free library for loading GenCad data and convert them to Solid Works(3D)?

Or has someone an idea how to load GenCad files and bring it than to Solid Works?

Thanks

Hello Michael,

there are a tool who can read genCad files and has as output Solid Works:

http://www.pcb-investigator.com/sdk-participate

there are some examples how to load files via API, but the only way to export to Solid Works is with the output dialog.

Hope this helps
Fabio

I have tried to import the data and it works after checking all examples from pcb-investigator. The export to SW works too.

But this tool is not free, I have readed that there is a special student version but not for comercial use.

Do anyone know other libraries to load GenCad data and/or export to Solid Works?
