Hi,

The OK and Cancel buttons have disappeared from some of my default SharePoint pages.

For example when going to a document library's settings, choosing to edit a column, the edit column page appears, but no OK or Cancel to save my changes.

Also - when trying to create a new document library or a new list, the initial page where you fill in Title, etc. appears, but no OK or Cancel to save changes.

This is only happening for libraries and lists at the top level of my site collection. All sub sites are working finel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like your default templates for the Site have been edited. these would be in the Forms folder if you were exploreing with SharePoint designer.

Use designer to open your default master page/site template to check whether the said buttons are available there. If no, then that might be overwritten.

Well,Microsoft office SharePoint Design can help you to do that. You can drag the Input(Button) to the master page. In that case, it is necessary to customize properties setting and event setting.
