Crystal Reports are not working on my domain

Hello friends,

Recently i took one domain (windows hosting) to host my asp.net project.

I have succeeded in that i can access my project over the net. But not completely, in my project i have used crystal reports, these reports i can see on my local machine it is working fine but on the domain it is not working, giving error as...

An error has occurred while attempting to load the Crystal Reports runtime.

Either the Crystal Reports registry key permissions are insufficient or the Crystal Reports runtime is not installed correctly.

Please install the appropriate Crystal Reports redistributable (CRRedist*.msi) containing the correct version of the Crystal Reports runtime (x86, x64, or Itanium) required. Please go to http://www.businessobjects.com/support for more information.

I tried on google about this problem, i found the solution that i have to install correct crystal report package to use it, but i dont on domain how can i install this one.

Please Somebody help me on this.

You will have to contact the people you bought your domain and hosting from and ask them to resolve the problem or if Crystal Reports is even supported on their systems. Its entirely possible that they don't support the use of CR on your domain host.

Unless you have root access to the server, it is unlikely you can resolve this problem yourself.

Thanx for the replies, but i'm using bigrock's hosting.
their supporting team says that they're providing crystal report services.

Hi rahman,

Could you please kindly advise the CR version that you use? Are you using same CR version on the server? Please make sure

1. Your identity must change to Local Service
2. Please make sure that aspnetclient and CrystalReportViewer has been copied to your folder
3. Please give permission (local service) to your folder.

My hosting company provides crystal reports version 13.0.2, i tried to change the version from 10.5 to 13.0.2000.0 but after changing i have succeeded some what but again got one more error

i tried on google for this error, i found solution that the version change may help, i already changed version from 10.5 to 13.0.2 in web.config and in my aspx page refenrence, but the error is as it is....

Hi Rahman,

Yes, the version is not same with the server, so you receive above error message. You may consult this matter with your hosting provider and ask for their help. :)
