What is the procedure to create a setup file of a website/web application.I went through many links but i got only for windows application i don't need that.

please anybody give me any links where i can create setup file for a web application.

I mean when ever it installed it should create a shortcut to the desktop. show that i could directly run from that.

Check the below link carefully about the 3rd option. That tells to create the windows installer(msi ) for the Web Application which you can run later

I created the setup file and executing in IIS but my requirement is completed yet. I need Shortcut icon on desktop.
