What is Android SDK and ADT

Hi,

I would like to know what is the difference between android SDK and ADT? Are both of them necessary to build an android application.

Solution 1

SDK is the Development Kit and the ADT are the Developer Tools. Simply download the bundle, extract and you are ready to go.
