Print Button Refreshes the page only in server

Hi All,
I've some problem with printing the crystal report. My report is getting printed in my system. Bt when I tried to print with another system ya server , its not working.Clicking the print button only refreshes the report bt not opening the dialogue box for printing. I'm using the print button of crystalviewer toolbar. But I can print the same report when I'm accessing it from server in my system

Solution 1

You are missing some Crystal patch on the server. Try installing latest version or check for missing print patch.

I'm using Visual studio2008. So crystal report will be with that. And how can I find whats missing?

Yes i understand that. Thats the reason i said missin gpatch. A similar issue we had and finally after troubleshooting a lot we found a patch provided by Crystal reports team was needed.

You have to go through there site and see if you can get a patch.

Can u explain a little bit?
I can print this report only in my system whether the application runs from my system as well as server. Thats y I'm confused

See, it's clear that whenever application runs from your system it works fine but not from server machine. Your machine has something extra/different. Might be yours is XP and server a 2003 one... so different configs... diff files. While printing report, it uses client machine resouce so when using app from your system you are able to print.

No no. Wherever the application(in server ya in my system) I can print report from my system. But I cant print it directly from server. I think there is some settings missing in internet explorer of server. When I'm accessing the report from server I can print it in my system. Bt not in server

If it is that simple then it's good for you! We didn't find that in our case. Further, IE setting means client settings. Have you checked printing it from any other system other than yours or server? Try that...

Ya.From one system its working bt from another one it behave like server. I can't find what setting I'm missing in the server and the other system?
