I think it's better now but I still see gibberish instead of words.

No change.
Also I'm doing the ".tdl" comparison.

This is what I see in comments, titles and anywhere I write that language.

If the email is not working then maybe you can put this word instead of title, comment, tag, file name and so on so you can see if it shows gibberish or the same word "נסיון 123"

The problem with the google group email is that it only works once your first post has been accepted.
I've changed my signature to use a 'normal' address.

ps. What are your regional settings regarding 'language' and 'culture'?

If you mean by to-do list preferences>general>display language,
then I see it's on English (UK).
Most of the time in programs I use (US)...

I meant in Windows Control Panel.

Everything is in English.
But I can see in "Region and Language" > "Language for non-Unicode programs" is Hebrew.

Hi Dan,
would it be possible to provide an option to hide calculated priorities on expanded tree parents?
So they would show on collapsed parents only.
Why I would like this:
If you look at the priority column, each shown priority looks like "Here is something to do". If you have a deep nested, expanded tree with calculated priorities, you get the impression there is more to do than there really is. There is no difference between "real" priority and calculated. If the parent is expanded, i don't need the calculated priority at the parent. I see the children's priorities.
I do like to see calculated priorities in the tree though, so i don't want to switch them off.
Thank you for the outstanding work here!
Best regards
Jürgen

Hi Jurgen
Sorry for the delay in responding.
Juergen Seyberth wrote: would it be possible to provide an option to hide calculated priorities on expanded tree parents? This is not as simple as it sounds because the Tree View does not exist in isolation.
If I did implement this then I would also need to think about whether this should also be applied to the List View which is effectively an 'always-expanded-but-flat' tree.
I would also need to decide whether this would also need to be applied to the plugin views which either display the priority value directly (Kanban) or use the priority colours (Calendar, Gantt, Kanban) for rendering the task names and background colours.
So whilst I can appreciate the value this would provide in not doubling-up on the high priorities I also need to consider the broader implications so I'll definitely need to think about it some more.

I really need to print GANTT chart.
If it's not possible for now, is there any "GANTT Chart Stylesheet" to transform?
|
|
|
|

Hi VG
You are welcome to try out the latest Development Preview of 7.2[^] which has the functionality to print the active task view.
1. Select the 'Gantt Chart' view
2. Select 'File > Print Preview'
3. Select 'Style > Task View'
4. OK
Note: There is presently a bug in the rendering of the dependencies which will be fixed in the next update.

Can you help me with the Ubuntu Linux version of the application?

Hello Dan,
When pasting text copied from TDL (and another application, TreeDBNotes), whether from task titles or comments, into a TDL comment field, TDL immediately stops working.
Pasting text copied from webpages still works, but it hangs TDL for about 8 seconds before the pasted text gets displayed.
("Paste Simple" is not affected by those problems.)
I reproduced the above issues in Introduction.tdl.
Thank you,
NT

What Windows OS are you using?

Hi Dan,
I'm using Windows 10.
Thanks,

Thx NT.
Both this and the filtering performance should be fixed in 7.2.DP3 though it's still not ready for production use overall.

Hi Dan,
Thank you so much for the prompt fixes. ToDoList now works great again!
