No you can not specify a theme in master page .
if you don't to specify a theme in web.config then
you have to specify in each page for which you want to apply them.

Actually, I tried on the aspx page and it was working but it's not feasible to set this for every page. So, I wanted to know if I can set the theme using master page.

Then what is the problem with use web.config to set the Theme.

There are three way to apply the theme in your application.
1.

    // Applying theme to a particular page
<%@ Page Theme="ThemeName" Language="C#"%>

Hiiiiiii.....I m developing a Shopping Cart and for creation of cart i m using data table with session. i have wrote this code on my home page.

On PAGE Load EVENT

the Problem i m facing is that whenver user comes to home page after adding products to cart....it becomes empty.....the reason behind this is that the code i have written on load event of home page .......and if i checks for existence of session then it got saved permanently....means it didnt clear the cart data table....what to do in this condition........and how to use cookies in this case.......plz guide me a bit Smile | :)

I'm a bit confused by what you're asking.

Do you want to be able to store the content of the cart even if the user closes your site?   Or do you just want the cart to still be available if the user navigates back to your home page from another page on your site?

If it is the second case you can simply do...

Does anyone know how to make a bar chart using MSChart control from a column of a postgresql database that is imported from an ODBC connection that is using the Microsoft.ODBC.dll? I am finding a lot of information on creating charts with other data souces but not through Microsoft's ODBC API. I am trying to create a bar chart and have each value from a column represent one bar. I have everything set up, I am just having trouble binding the database data to the chart. Hi all, I am new in .NET, I wrote a simple web service using VS 2003 where it will return some data of my customers. I need to invoke this web service with large amount of data now(e.g.3000rows record). I was thinking of how can I process this in bulk with better perfomance rather than calling the service in real time? I have the input file which is in CSV format. I will be glad to hear any of the suggestions.

use WSE 3.0 (web service enhancements). In wse, one of the improvement is MTOM(Message Transmission optimization mech.). You can use that for bulk & sensitive message processing.

Far as I'm concerned, using the document.getElementById function requires the ClientId as parameter, and not the name. ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$btnSubmit looks more like a name, the Id would probably be ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_btnSubmit.

To avoid confusion (and really, not try to guess what a ClientId is going to be I would use:

[...]
onkeydown="OnTextChange('<%=btnSubmit.ClientID%>')"
[...].

See in that <b>they will sub divide the string and the remaining contents they will show in next page...,
and same time if u click single page format u can read the news in a single page...,</b>

Which part of this is confusing you ? They are using some sort of paging control, like the paging built in to several ASP.NET controls, and they have the option to render the whole story. You would build an engine that does this, and break your articles in to pages.

yes .. Use <asp:datapager> control inside ItemTemplate of the Repeater. Make appropriate adjustment to make pages you divide your text programmatically.

Hi,

Actually i am looking for some free WebServices for sending SMS from ASP.Net

Actually i have used on of the web service i.e

"http:www.webservicex.net/SendSMS.asmx?WSDL" This is not working and also

it is giving error message like
"unable to Connect Remote Server "www.webservicex.net"

Can any one tell me some free Webservice which is use full to send SMS
