It has been posted to the main page after I updated the article.

Below is the link to my unpublished article.
Visual C++ 11 Beta Benchmark of Parallel Loops[^]
I cannot upload zipped files, jpg and png images to my new article using online editor. The error message is "Unexpected error during upload. One or more files may not have been uploaded.". I may have to email Sean the files for him to upload on my behalf.

And I have done so. On occassion this error pops up, but in this case I think it might have been a simultaneous uploading of three images that were beyond 640 pixel width in addition to files. It gave the article editor too much to think about and she overloaded

Thanks Sean, I'll keep that in mind when I upload another new article later today.

If I change the URL of my article, and someone opens the old one, will he be redirected to the new URL?
|
|
|
|
|
If you mean: if you change the part after the article id, ie
http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/123/MyArticle
If you change the MyArticle part then yes, the user will be automatically redirected.

Submitted article but mustn't have noticed the type was set to Alternative Tip. I'd like to change the type to article but can't. Yang[^]
Could someone change it or describe how?
Thanks

Hi Rob,
To me it looks like a pure Tips&Tricks post currently. Is that what you see now as well?
Thanks,

Hi Sean, Yes, It's under tips and tricks. I'd think it should be an article. I don't see it as a tip, rather an approach. If you feel that it is a tip, then we can just leave it where it is.

It seems to be doing well where it is, I'd recommend not moving it.

Sometimes when I've voted <= 3 on an article I've just used the "Add reason or comment to your vote" for the required comment.
How can I go back and see those comments later?
They do not show in the discussion on the article.
They DO show as entries in my Latest Messages list, but following the link just returns to the article page which doesn't show these comments.
Is it a setting of mine that hides them?
Thanks
PS. I didn't see a forum for issues about the discussions/voting...

Are these on pending articles? Because articles that have not yet been approved for the site receive comments, then once the article has been approved those comments are automatically removed.

No, these are on a Technical Blog from Mar 29, and and Article from Mar 8.

Do you happen to have links to the blog entry and the article?
Thanks,

Can I change my vote on any Article (or Comment)??
or it needs some special rights Like: MVP status??
Happy Coding...

You should be able to. Try a re-vote on something you voted upon already. Please let me know if you encounter any problems
