Hello all,
I create a Bitmap GDI+ object using an HBITMAP passed into the contructor. I assume this creates a PixelFormat24bppRGB bitmap. How do I convert this to PixelFormat32bppARGB? I assume you use Bitmap::ConvertFormat but don't know how to do this?
Can anyone help?

Hi, I need something like a CFileDialog (where you can let the user select a file and then see the path to it) but for folders. So the user would find a folder, and click ok and the the path to that folder would be available to the program, does anyone know if there is something like that. Thanks

try this if it suits you
As far as my perception goes you need the folderpath where the file is contained.
So why don't you Trim the string by the file name.
In this way you would be able to get the path of the folder.
This is a crude way. You may get some even better ways of doing this

Thanks guys. I was already trimming file path before and was just trying to find a better way.
I went to http://www.codeproject.com/dialog/cfolderdialog.asp, found out and then learned how to use SHBrowsefolder and my thing works. thanks for your help

you can't decompile a DLL..though you can use a tool "Dependency Walker" to know the list of exported funtion names

I creating an application, and the user is able to load url or html. and extract the content to word via just a click on the convert button. So ur ans is not appropriate. Any other ways?

You can use COM automation to launch MS Word, open an HTML file and save it as a Word document. Have a look on MSDN under Office Development.

I'd like to do that as simply as entering "wmplayer.exe" in Windows Run utility.

Better use CreateProcess, it give more control to calling application to control new application

Open resource script in Notepad editor then input unicode text, save as unicode file and compile. Hope that works
