(S)he also had a go at QA, but was caught by moderation.
I've cleaned up after them.

From this: http://www.codeproject.com/Members/Capuchin[^]
He joined today, it's his one post, and it's get several links to the same site: onthe.io which is a cloud service company.
It's got text like:
"We decided to check which format – JPEG-XR or WebP – is a better image compressor. To do this we collected JPEG-images from DZone publications within the last month and compressed them one by one with JPEG-XR and WebP algorithms. We did it with this and this tool."
Where the two this es are links to the same site again.
I think it's site driving? Anyone else?

I'd say tinned meat.
Time for a kickin'!
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

I checked several functions and, for the post part, it is only a direct copy/paste of the MSDN documentation, with some minor arrangements.
But this does not bring any added value to the core documentation.

I picked one at random (LOG10) and compared it.
He's added one sentence, and the rest is just copy and paste, including the example.
Yes, he has referenced where he copied it from, but without the copied material there is nothing useful left.
That's plagiarism.
If I saw that in the moderation queue today, I'd report it here.
And a very quick check on another of his articles (again, picked at random): SQL Server's FORMAT() function[^] come up with all the relevant detail copied from MSDN: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dwhawy9k(v=vs.110).aspx[^]
OK, the MSDN article is talking about "formatting in .NET" and his is "formatting in SQL", but I'd be prepared to bet a small sum that the MSDN Transact-SQL documentation also contains the same text somewhere. In fact, the MSDN FORMAT descriptoin links to "Formatting Types in the .NET Framework"[^] - which is the header page for the one holding the table of info in his article.
So I'd say "Serial Plagiarist" and start kicking.

Approved articles stay published even if the author gets kicked, right? So probably all of his articles should be checked for plagiarism and be removed if they are !?
