Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager fined the world's most popular internet search engine in 2017 over the use of its own price comparison shopping service to gain an unfair advantage over smaller European rivals. I'm sure they're devastated at the loss of their lunch money

People could use Facebook, Google free from algorithms fed with user data. If you outlaw algorithms, only outlaws will use algorithms

So... we will get a pile of crap results for a search... nice.
But, only because they are free from algorithms fed with user data doesn't mean that they don't continue collecting, processing and selling user data using other possibilities.

You sometimes want to manually inline your code. Even the smartest compilers get it wrong. It depends(tm)
Some compilers treat __inline as a suggestion, not an obligation. MSVC to name one.

And then you have __forceinline , which is the C-way to say "plz!!!!!!!!"
"Five fruits and vegetables a day? What a joke!
Personally, after the third watermelon, I'm full."
Soon they might have to come out with _forceinlinewithprejudice .
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

That's because .NET 5 does not feature a Long Term Support (LTS) support level and hence is limited to 18-month support only as offered by the "Current" support level for .NET versions. I haven't even gotten around to installing it yet.
