I will buy any colour computer, as long as it's black.

Real innovation happens when we make mistakes along the way to chasing an optimal solution, and it could be anything from a better client experience in software systems to sales and marketing. Sorry, I'm more into quantity, rather than quaility

Another "I'm thick as sh1t and don't know much about anything, but I'm more valuable than educated, intelligent people" piece.
Gotta respect their tenacity in the way they keep trying to sell the idea.

The Linux kernel has around 27.8 million lines of code in its Git repository, up from 26.1 million a year ago, while systemd now has nearly 1.3 million lines of code We're gonna need more eyeballs (to keep the bugs shallow)

That'll take about another 25 million lines of code.

Their title as a "D" in it. At least it does now, not sure if it was that way when you posted it.

A new lithium-sulphur battery with an ultra-high capacity could lead to drastically cheaper electric cars and grid energy storage. Until the next model of phone comes out

Yup. Headline should read "A new battery could let your phone use 5x more power".
AFAIK it won't do nearly much for laptops though because battery capacity growth there is already up against the 100 watt/hour limit beyond which you're not allowed to take it on an airplane.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

A connected paper-roll is what we so desperately needed, indeed. I can't wait to have statistics on length used by day/week/month/year. A robotic voice saying 'Eew' at each usage would be a plus.
