The web's creator has attacked any UK plans to weaken encryption and promised to battle any moves by the Trump administration to weaken net neutrality. Sure, but what's he invented lately?

"Look boss, subject #42 is trying to open lots of doors really fast before going to bed..."
"I don't think he's opening doors, Igor."
"Ohmygodno! "
Anyway, used for pets and now also employees.
Because manually opening doors really is the bane of my existence...

So, what happens when you leave the company?
Option 1: They remove the microchip.
Option 2: They leave it in and update their servers to deny access.
With option 1, the phrase "scarred for life" takes on a whole new meaning!
With option 2, and with a dozen job changes over a lifetime, you could have quite a few of these things stuck in your arm by the time you retire!

I was looking / expecting to be able to make a snarky comment, but looking at the Microservices & Containers draft, it looks quite well written!
Kudos to the authors.

More and more organizations are choosing to hose their web applications in the cloud using services like Microsoft Azure.

If you were on the internet in a certain era, you remember McAfee. It was the defensive line between you and the rest of the internet, reminding you with incessant popups that you were not hacked, not quite yet, but only if you renewed your subscription right away. Because that's a name people know and trust

Did it ever go away? It still seems to come pre-installed on most Windows consumer devices - and you still have to download the "removal tool" to properly uninstall it after you've used the uninstaller.
