completely agree with you. Ask a question, and you'll get 14 comments and 5 arguments about how the question has already been answered and why it hasn't. It's like having an entire conference room full of women dealing with "that time" of the month or pre-menopause.
Don't jump my case, I've gone through six daughters and one wife I've been married to for 46 years. I know what I'm talking about. It's okay, but I think the analogy fits to SO.

Yeah I found out from linked in. I learned to program on Code project, in 1999I bought books then asked questions here as I started with MFC (remember that?) . I worked for CP for a good year I think, early in my move to working from home for overseas companies. I drifted away from CP over time, I don't have questions any more and the questions here got ridiculous. But I still have a soft spot for the place

In your bash or zsh resource file, add this function and re-source it or logout and back in.

I've developed a strange quirk that I can't shake.
I look at other cars' license plates when in traffic. I automatically have to evaluate the characters of each license plate to determine if every character qualifies as a hexadecimal character. If all the characters on a license plate qualify as hexadecimal, I take the first 6 characters and imagine what color that hex code would represent. Once I've got the color in mind, I move on to the next license plate and do it again. I can't stop it. My brain automatically does this whenever I see another car's license plate.
If I see a license plate with characters that match a number sequence matching up to the first 10 digits of pi (e.g. "ABC314"), then that little voice in my mind says "Oh, cool"...
