Well I have always wanted durable instructions...
I, for one, like Roman Numerals.

No. You also need the NOUNSTIK glue, and the PAGESTIK bindery (extra cost).

Can you, as a favour to us at CodeProject, and to all those who just want to come to the lounge to chat and enjoy a bit of company, give it a rest?
All you're doing is taking our time away from helping those who are trying to share their code, their articles, their time to answer questions on the forums and question boards.
If you're bored then please take it elsewhere. A little respect for what we're trying to do here, please.
cheers

There's being loquacious and there's being deliberately offensive. The difference is pretty easy to spot.

The message you closed, i honestly wasn't trying to be offensive, but i apologize. I'll be more careful.

I posted a music video called "Lick the Witch" (not dirty like it sounds)
claimed it was my theme song, and dedicated it to sander so he'd know when i was approaching.
only i said "know when i was coming" and then OriginalGriff went and made it weird. =)
anyway, it seems to have been reported by a number of people here, considering it was removed.
I'm not the good witch, but i'm not exactly evil either, despite Sander's protestations.

I think it is the first time since I joined CP (18 years) that I see a message like that!!!
I'd rather be phishing!

Chris is just level-headed enough to know not to get involved in "those discussions". But it does come to a point where some people need to be told, as he put it, to give it a rest.

If you can keep your head while those about you are losing theirs, perhaps you don't understand the situation.

I support this message.

Actually, +9999999 (infinity)
I've seen the soapbox, but never really spent any time in there. Seems like its purpose was just to allow the more controversial discussions on sensitive topics to take place, and I don't feel we need CP to enable that. There's a million other sites better suited for that purpose.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

ZurdoDev wrote: The soapbox was just about the only interesting discussions CP ever had. I partially (actually mostly) agree... the biggest problem is that most of those decent / interesting discussions degrade to meaningless flame wars and endless loops that brought nothing more to the topic and were just for the sick of "who has it longer" or "You are wrong, and I am right".
There have been more than enough chances to keep it in the interesting level, those chances were always missused and now... it is gone.
Let it rest in peace.
