Odd episodes (increasingly rarely) still turn up in private collections, that have been in someone's attic for decades. Some of the Troughton era episodes were erased, then many years later they were able to fill in some of the gaps as recordings were found that had been sold to a Nigerian TV station.

Anyone know how I return it?

First, get a live chicken and three sage smudge sticks. At midnight, light a fire on the moors. Light the smudge sticks and place them around the fire. When the fire is hottest, place the document in the center. When the police come by, say it's all the chicken's fault.
