Thanks I must have done something because when I entered the anchor tag and clicked outside the comment area the text didn't show and when I went back in what I had entered was gone? I was in a hurry!

I liked it until it became a traditional mass market sitcom. Now it is 100% relationship with a hint of geek.

I liked the first season. Maybe the second. Went downhill pretty quickly.

Couldn't agree more.
As with many American sitcoms it's become stale and resorting to self indulgence for its laughs, which are few ad far between since the 'fell on her ladyparts' line a series or two ago.

I like it and still watch it, but I have noticed that all the plots and jokes seem to center around sex. Like 95%.

I didn't say you were going to get lucky. I just said that life seems to center around sex.

I also like the show. And after 7 years you can't expect the same level of humor as the first season. But they still have really funny episodes after every 2-3 not-so-funny episodes. I think they now have too many characters and half of them are not as well written as Sheldon's character.
Same thing is happening with 'How I met your mother'. IMO any TV show that runs past 5 seasons will go downhill.

That is also a show that depends on a single character. It's finishing in a few weeks - it will be no more. This final season ahs been quite awful.

You are right.
I am on 5th season, and it's already feeling weaker. And now I don't even care about the reveal.
And after this ends, they are going to start a spinoff 'How I met your Father'.

I love it, also.
It's even the only sitcom I can watch (usually pre-recorded laughings make me zap).

Hang on - when did Leslie[^] appear in Dr Who?
And my comment from last year still stands: the article is from March 2009. If it's not brewed by now, it's gone off.

As to the Dalek in the pond, I guess even a Dalek needs to pay their gambling debts.
