Land?
But if it wasn't filled with ice it would be filled with water (Well, liquid water anyway).
How does that make it land?

A lake is inland, it's not part of the sea! Doh!
But that's not land, right?
Or is this another nuance of the english language that I've missed?

Well it's still on land. But if there was a lake there it could be advertised as deepest lake on earth...

And of course it never rains in Antarctica - it's the driest place on Earth according to QI - so the lake could never fill up.

Fall wouldn't bother you, sudden stop at the bottom is bad.
If you can keep your head while those about you are losing theirs, perhaps you don't understand the situation.

I assume it's because of the shape of the earth. Also, did we just discover Earth's anus?

No, I'm pretty certain that's in Luton.

I've been waiting for this one a long time, too.

I'm just hoping the final book comes out before the TV series catches up ...

I think I'll have some of the books as gift for Christmas (deduction from innocent questions my cousin asked me a couple of months ago). I can't wait ^^

Why...does anything bad happen when that's the case?
Oh, wait...Game of Thrones. Never mind, carry on.

And they aren't that quick at getting new books out ... the "final book" is due out next year, and I want to read it!

Thanks for making me aware of the series. Never got to know about it. Just started watching first two episodes of season 1. Like it!

Oh, it's good. The books are well worth reading too, though the TV series stays pretty close to the story, it brings bit and people forward to strengthen the political side of things.
I have high hopes of the Amazon series ...

New? Hardly! But I have better things to do than getting familiar with all the stoopid games out there!
