By saying that it is just like you. Upon inquiry, I elaborated stating that, she is really helpful and handy, like when things are going good, they are amazing. But, if something goes wrong, hell breaks loose.
Since then, I am trying to explain my intentions and reasons for such a statement, hell did break loose!

His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

Xamarin? Never used it. I like .net -- warts and all. So, how about this...
Let's say that .net is like you... I really like you even though you drive me nuts sometimes.
Xamarin is kinda like .net, just as your cousin is kinda like you.
So using Xamarin might be like sleeping with your cousin... except I'll need to do some research to be sure.

IOW, it's like the children's rhyme:
There was a little girl
And she had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead
And when she was good
She was very, very, good
But when she was bad
She was horrid

Any married man will tell you that there are times when you need to cut your losses, and make a grovelling apology. This sounds like one of those...

I preferred this version:
There was a little girl
And she had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead
And when she was good
She was very, very, good
But when she was bad
She was wonderful

Good girls go to heaven.
Bad girls go everywhere.
If you can keep your head while those about you are losing theirs, perhaps you don't understand the situation.

If a bird that flies over the sea is a seagull, is a bird that flies over the bay a baygull? And if that baygull flies over locks in the bay is it a baygull and lox?
Note: I disavow all participation in this, I am just the messenger
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, navigate a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Yes - and if it is flying with several other large birds it would then be a multi-crane bay gull and lox.

Difficult - he is in Alaska, I am in Florida. I suppose I could ask my sister though, she lives about 100 miles away (bad roads right now, not sure if she would do it)

Well, that was fast. I looked at the IoT stupid idea of the weekend for about five seconds, and then closed the tab. I immediately then left CP and went to BBC news to see how many times the suspected drone operators accidently fell down the police station steps causing serious bruising, and lo! a damned add for the thing at the top of the BBC page!

Those two - if it was them - need seriously long sentences, combined with debilitating fines and "victim surcharge". Once the "stair related" injuries have healed, anyway.
The number of poor sods they have badly affected is ridiculous!
But Gatwick did the only thing it could: shut down until the drones went away. I think we need "drone-seeking" missiles and radio triangulating helicopters for all airports ... this will happen again.
