It's certainly an impressive achievement by ISRO. Unfortunately, I was busy at the time and couldn't watch the live coverage.

I watched it, was switching between ISRO YT channel and FIDE for Magnus Carlsen vs R Praggnanandhaa FIDE World Cup final match. Amazing showing by both Indians.

yes made a point of viewing . was hoping to see history in the making . expected to see the lunar surface approach until touchdown but the terminus was a mere simulation . also Indian Space Research Organisation[^] merely played endless videos of the launch as it is still doing . overall rather disappointing .

Hope the expectation is not of a cameraman being there capturing the soft landing.
What we saw on YouTube was that both the horizontal and vertical velocities gradually became zero.

BernardIE5317 wrote: expected to see the lunar surface approach until touchdown but the terminus was a mere simulation As it was for the USA's first moon landing in 1969, 'cause no one was already on the surface to film it. (And that's what the moon landing conspiracy folks use as "evidence" that it was faked. )

i assumed a camera would have been placed at bottom of lander . prior to the switch to the simulation a presomably live shot of the lunar surface was shown . i do not know where that camera was mounted but i believe i would have preferred its view to the simulation . why they made the switch makes no sense to me .

Not live, but I watched the shots from its approach, and this morning the clip of the rover going down the ramp and onto the surface. That's an awesome accomplishment! Congrats to the ISRO!

Suddenly this afternoon, when I try to use Edge's DevTool window on my project, the DevTool window closes itself after like half a second being opened....
I tried resetting Edge setting, restart VS and my computer and it still happen.. it's crazy and confusing, why would it even do that?! Any idea or similar experience?
I even checked the Event Viewer, but there was nothing of note there...
Remark it happened just after I messed around with the set project folder alert that pops up. So I even tried resetting Edge options, to no results... :/ ANd this only happen for that one project...

This might help - Microsoft Edge Dev Crashing[^]
Quote: Press Windows key + R and type: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Packages.
Open the folder labeled Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe (Or something silmilar) and delete all of its content.
Next, click Start and type: powershell and right-click PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
This command will reinstall Microsoft Edge:
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}
There are also some other solutions.

Similar experience here using Adobe Dreamweaver. Context opening an html file through a shortcut on my desktop choosing the app used to open the page in SplitCode view but for ... like ... some strange reason, this morning, it opens them in Code view, much to my chagrin. I mean pleasure.
I think it must have been someone here on codeproject sending me an aluminium-foil hat after yesterday's self-reference to my discovery that that cloud turned out to be the moon.
