Capitalism is a mortal sin, in Christianity.
The only time that Jesus lost his temper was in the "office" of capitalists.

Being deceptive and trying to provoke trouble are also against the tenets of Christianity.
"Childish tantrum" is obviously you fishing for an argument, because there has been nothing childish or tantrum-ish in anything I've said to you.
Your little "oh, i'm superior to everyone because i'm a christian/capitalist/ms wumao" trip isn't even annoying, it's so surreal. It's like watching a car accident.
Also, you've made it very clear, in the past, that it is you who knows nothing at all about the bible, in discussions where I have quoted it (from memory, then looked up the chapter and verse), but you were not able to raise even a single quote (despite googling).
Here's where you can start to redeem yourself: Where, in the bible, does it say that capitalism is not an evil, which sinners will be punished for, come judgement day?

Yes, of course, except in this case we're not talking about an update, but a full upgrade.
Interestingly, I'm using an entreprise version of Windows 7 at home; I never saw any sollicitation to upgrade to Windows 10. Do Microsoft fear being sued by entreprises for upgrading systems without full compatibility having being tested? I wonder if a class action could make them back off.

Sorry, I guess you confused me with someone else with whom you were arguing.
Perhaps you don't know what "potato potato" means. That is quite possible. It's really an audible thing. In American English there are 2 common ways of pronouncing potato. But either way, it's still a potato.
An update or an upgrade, who cares? It's still their software, not yours.

I bought the OS, as well as the computer to make it run. So in my point of view, they are fully mine.
I get your point, though; what a world it would be if marketing people were not allowed to treat their customers as cattle anymore.
And thanks for the linguistic information (no sarcasm here, really); I would hesitate to use it for my own argumentation, though.

Or, wait for a torrent with a cracked version and elephant them off. Pay 0, get all the updates when they get released cracked and the cracks themselves prevent MS crapware.

Except I simply don't believe it's actually happening. I know plenty of people still with Windows 7, I have Windows 8.1, and NONE automatically upgraded. You had to click on something first to allow that upgrade.

Just like with the bible, you appear to know it's there, but not know anything about it. I suggest you look into hacking laws before accepting any more wu mao payments from ms for promoting winio.

If you allow automatic updates, you've given permission. If you don't want updates, turn them off.
|
|
|
|

Huh?
Clicking the X in a control toolbox is not "allowing automatic updates", and being stuck with an operating system that is forced on you doesn't constitute "permission to do whatever the Hell you want with my property".
I had to take quite extensive steps to disable automatic updates on my winio tablet, and just as extensive steps on all my other machines to keep winio at bay.
Having to defend my property from attacks by foreign corporations is not how I like to spend my day.
