It is well known (or not) that Mr. Nielson practices Schrödinger method acting. I hear he was is quite good at it.
It was broke, so I fixed it.

I just submitted my application for Google in Irvine, and I'm curious to know if there just happens to be a CPian in the hood all about the G to the double O that has worked there before.

They have a very long, tedious interview process. Think outside the box, when they start asking you to solve problems.
I see you decided to move to southern california.

Well poo. Here I was thinking I could just sleep my way to the top.

And yeah man, I moved here for acting. But the teacher I'm studying with wants me to train up for a year or so. Which means I shall be requiring a normal job. Figured as long as I'm looking, hey why not Google ya know.

That's cool. I attended Conrad Studios in Burbank for a few years, after high school. Realized I wasn't Tom Cruise. Gave up acting.
I think you actually have a better chance of working for Google then making it big in Hollywood. Good luck. I mean that.

Glad to know we're kindred spirits. Although I personally think I have a better chance of making it in Hollywood than with Google. Guess you'd just have to know me to really see that.
Buuuuuut homey needs a normal job for now. So thanks for the good wishes.

Were you approached by one of their recruiters or did you submit it directly?

Figured I'd submit directly. After driving around Irvine I figured why not. It's a spiffy building... clickety[^].

I suggest watching this before the interview so you'll know what you're in store for. It's all true.

Oh, I've seen it. Funny movie. I'm not so worried about it. I'll end up where I need to end up to do what it is I need to do so that I can be me and all that. Deep stuff I know.

Short opinions welcome.
Task: Organize about ninety business cards
Question for opinions: Set up a spreadsheet ? Set up a Database ?
|
|
|
|
|
Can't make a suggestion without more information: In what period of time did you accumulate the 90 cards?
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

That is a truly insightful question.
If it took him 10 years to get all those, throw them in a spreadsheet.
If he's going to get 90 more tomorrow? DATABASE!!!!

Three day period, generally 3 minute conversations with 90 different companies.

Spreadsheet.
90 business cards is not a large number.
I'd rather be phishing!
