Code Project Rule of the Day
Rule 13: Don't feed the trolls with low reputations.
Today we rest on a very important rule. Find the guidelines here[CP]
Lets meditate on this rule and try and implement it in our daily CP use today.
If any more suggestions arise feel free to comment any other rules. The original post started here

You just need to define what means low reputation
Microsoft ... the only place where VARIANT_TRUE != true
|
|
|
|
|
Then send sub rule suggestion to the rule... Like rule 13.A, or 13.1 or somesorts

I try to only feed trolls with high reputations myself.
Once you lose your pride the rest is easy.
I would agree with you but then we both would be wrong.

I might then set a sub rule for that.
Like 13.1: If feeding trolls with high rep only feed them Cannabis.

Don't they eat chocolate and/or bacon or drink beer?

I am not sure, I do not make all the rules.
I just know rule ¬.

I want to update the The Code Project's Wikipedia article
Anyone wants me to add some more stuff over there, you're welcome (to try, no promise).
BTW - the article was translated to ... Hebrew today !
Cheers,
C

I'd let MM write the chapter about the creation of CP.
@Michael Martin : I am sure you'd be happy to write an essay about the Foundation : Codeguru, beer, branching on Code Project, beer, beer, beer, loosing the user database in 2000, less beer, etc..

Codeproject was not founded. Codeproject founded the internet.

If it was not founded then at least who found it?

You looking for sympathy?
You'll find it in the dictionary, between sympathomimetic and sympatric

Yes, I dropped it down the back of the lounge one night when I got a bit pissed. Found it the next day under the cushion, damn uncomfortable to sit on.

That was probably all the loose change, missing TV remotes, children you hadn't seen for a few weeks, that sort of thing.

I don't know how to phrase that without seeming to be rude...
Could you contemplate choosing a less "visually offensive" CSS for displaying your member name ? The frame around it is, IMHO, not of the best rendition. Plus it gives the wrong impression of a button.

I don't like the choice of the "Contemplate" word it sounds so ... I don't know ... rude.
The CSS is indeed a CP button, I don't know who does CSS for CP, you can ask the head of CP web division chap.
