Yes, I've figured out that much. Posting here is just to dilute my sorrow by inflicting it on you folks
BTW none of my programming came from school, it was too long ago for that. Maybe I should go back to school to unlearn some of the nastier hacks I've picked up.

As far as I'm concerned, the word means: ‘I am looking. I am hunting for it. I am deeply involved.’” Vincent Van Gogh

I think you are hearing the wonderful old song "Dem Bones" (aka "Dry Bones") : [^]. The full lyrics are there, at that link. My favorite cover of that song is by the Deep River Boys whose version of "Shadrach" makes them immortal: [^].
I'm with Jimmy on strategy in this case. Be sure and practice looking horrified, astounded, revolted, etc., every time the client is present. Sobbing, and threatening suicide, because you are so ashamed of the pile of dung that the other programmers created could also be effective.
Of course, any strategy must be based, first, upon an estimate of what the client can pay

ROTFL I certainly should start practicing all that...
Yes, that's the one, my kids love it. Here's[^] the one they mimic. The lyrics have been mangled a bit in this version.

hello people, anyone tried one of those head phone, for example, these ones from Bose[^] with active noise cancellation? Does it work? I hear it's only good with steady background noises. If a baby scream all a sudden Active Noise Tech won't help much. But is this conclusion correct?
1. Active Noise technology good with steady waves forms
2. Active Noise technology not good with transient waves forms

With a pair of these[^]steady waves are dramatically reduced, sitting in a plane is less irritating with them on. Screaming babies STILL make you cringe with them on. The whole concept is to cancel out ambient noise not make you deaf.

What about Active Noise Cancellation Speakers (not Headphones), tried any of those?

Years ago I saw a project of one University out there that was about a really small and old car with microphones outside and inside and some new loudspeakers... a computer and a small software...
The idea was to make the old and small car sound as a Ferrari or as another car, all in all they were cancelling the real noise the car was doing and adding the noise they wanted... Of course when the driver accelerated the noise was like accelerating and so...
it was expensive but cool...

I can't see that working well. Headphones are easy because the only place you need to get destructive interference is fixed relative to the speakers in the cans; for stand alone speakers you'd end up with the interfering waves ending up in an out of phase making both quiet and extra loud spots.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Have you considered the redneck version? Rather than pay over $400 for them, get a pair of earplugs for around 10¢, make holes in them and shove regular headphones through them. Blocks baby screams too, but if you are hit by a truck using them on the road, I accept no responsibility

Thanks for the birthday wishes yesterday from y'all, had a good day fishing. Wasn't able to answer everyone as I've only got my tablet and it's a pain to do much typing.
