I ended up with python (the language I ended up doing the most in before I retired). My result (after a few "WTE - I don't know these people - no answer I understand") was

Java - "You know the solution to everyone's problem but your own". Maybe there is some truth to that.
Noone reports C#. My guess is that C# doesn't appear in the list of answers; Java is the closest you will get.
I sure would like to see the logic used to determine the result. It would probably reveal a lot about the personal preferences of the developer of the "test".
It is of course meant as a joke, but revealing the developers prejudices would give it some "serious" value, telling how other people make their judgements.
As others have remarked: For half of the questions, my real reply is like "None of the above".

I got Python then took it again with a couple of changes and got Perl. Both descriptions seemed fitting.
Favourite colour is one thing, but does anyone actually have a favourite punctuation character!!!

For you and all of the other folks complaining about Visual Basic it is the very best language!
You all must be very skilled.

Result: Perl

A true garbage this one... The difference between Perl and C++ is choosing + over . on the 'What is your favorite non-alphanumeric character?' question... (which is one of many totally stupid questions)

Watched the first 2 episodes.
Meh. Mediocre acting, elves that don't look elvish, constant epic emotional music, overdone and mediocre CGI, absurd dialog with random pithy clichés, meandering aimless plot lines, stupid love plot hints, and generally stupid behavior by children to move the death and destruction plot line along.

His son Christopher probably moreso, as I understand it. He was very much against selling the rights to LotR and the Hobbit for the movies (having made a career out or riding his father's coattails, and never having an original idea for himself), but his grandson had no problem taking the money.
I don't think a TV series would've happened with Christopher still in charge of the estate.

Not surprised. They spent all the money on purchasing the rights to do this. Time to start saving money!
