Expecting October 13, 2014 would be very nice to me. I'm taking a leave on my work. It's my birthday! You're all invited!
Don't mind those people who say you're not HOT. At least you know you're COOL.

I've so much stock for the 10M+ members of CP. But I know, not all of you could come, so I ate some.

I ate the chocolate.
But seriously happy birthday, enjoy your day and hope you have many more.

Just when I'm thinking the world is hopelessly fracked, and the immortal words of Yeats in "The Second Coming" will not stop echoing in my neocortex:
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity. Something ... someone ... comes along, like a young woman shot in the head by fanatics for her struggle to improve education for other young women, who survives, and goes on to become an international figure.
And, for a moment, I remember that the world is always new every moment, and there is ... hope. If Godel, or Cantor, were alive I'd ask them: "do you think the Aleph of the infinity of hope is greater than the Aleph of the infinity of hopelessness ?"
That I forget that moment of clarity so easily, and scuttle back into the comfort of the darkness of small-self, almost a kind of instinctual retreat: that seems to be a problem that has lasted too many years, and the eternity of the moment of clarity is always so brief.
cheers, Bill

I think it is not right place to congratulation of them because both are not visiting here.

It is not necessarily about congratulating them personally, but perhaps raising awareness of the individuals and their personal contribution to making things better. I think it is blatantly obvious they aren't visiting here, but does go someway as to demonstrate your lack of cultural and social naivity.
Why does the news in the UK tell us about the super typhon hitting Japan.....it isn't going to directly effect the country in a way that will change 99.99% of peoples behaviours.
Why say Rest In Peace to a dead person, they aren't going to hear you and turn round and say "why thanks, I may just do that."
Why do trolls do what they do...
Why....why....why.....
just sayin'

I think you should go somewhere else where your very narrow way of looking at things is appreciated.
Congratulations are appropriate here because a part of what CodeProject has always offered is exposure to the outside world for coding mushrooms who don't get out much. Helping brilliant coders to see how what they do relates to the outside world of the Great Unwashed is just one of the services we offer to members. Posts like this one lead us to venture into new realms of knowledge, expand our intellectual horizons, and improve our chances of getting laid before we're dead by becoming more interesting. I wouldn't put any money on your odds, but who knows? You might get lucky...

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Such fame should be reserved exclusively for people who pretend to be other people, or who strangle cats.
She should get down on her knees and apologise to Bieber, Spears, and Downey Jr.

I'm chuffed to see we have a re-incarnation of Daniel Defoe ... or is Kurt Vonnegut ? ... here in the Lounge

I've only ever read one book written by either, so, sadly, my insanity is my own.

I'd say that developing one's madness ... making it unique ... is a life's work: so much of our madness is given to us by our ruthless primate genes, and our socialization process, and the cultural matrix that encapsulates it, and those inevitable wounds that we, and others, and life, inflict.
Daniel Defoe's classic essay, "A Modest Proposal" ... sometimes referred to as "from cradle to crockpot" ... is a fine foamy-headed draught of literature that may help you along the path: [^].
cheers, Bill
