Mind you I still had to make the crust cases, and the first set were unusable due to holes ...
Which means it'll be at least four hours before I can try them! Damnit - they smell soooo good ...

Even our government hasn't let that many pass away yet ...
I'm sure they wouldn't care one way or the other (like all governments) but the publicity might not be good, and they only care about money and their reputations in the end ...

Note how none of the bureaucrats had to take a pay cut even with reduced hours.

It was only in wine that he laid down no limit for himself, but he did not allow himself to be confused by it.

Don't forget that no one has died of old age since March.
On a more serious note,
- The canals of Venice have come to life with fish and fowl.
- During the height of the lockdowns the air over Europe, China, and large US cities was visibly cleaner, showing everyone what a world without internal combustion could look like.

obermd wrote: Don't forget that no one has died of old age since March. I guess that you are (humorously) suggesting that all deaths, e.g. of old age, nowadays are being ascribed to corona. Quite recently, someone were suggesting that even traffic deaths were counted as corona deaths if any person in the car where corona-infected.
It seems like CDC has some different figures: Excess Deaths[^]. Compared to earlier years, the excess death count is actually far higher than the official corona death count.
The excess may of course have some totally unrelated explanation. But we are talking about hundred thousand deaths in addition to the corona deaths. You would expect there to be some hint to the cause, if the majority of them are unrelated to corona.

Deaths from other causes, such as suicide and not seeing the doctor or going to hospital in a timely way for other illnesses, are up.

About pandas breeding: I was reminded of a cartoon in India about tigers.

When you are hovering around VS gives you small popups to inform you of the nature of the piece of code your mouse is above...
For a boolean literal you get this:
struct System.Boolean
Represents a Boolean (true or false) value.
for a string literal you get this:
class System.String
Provides Microsoft.win32.RegistryKey objects that represent the root keys in the Windows registry, and static methods to access key/value pairs.
You should be careful what to write...

VS 2019 latest build...
class System.String
Represents text as a sequence of UTF-16 code units.

I too get that - in an other instance of the same VS...

All I get is class System.String - no further information.
