And you made a good choice. However, I had a PM from Switzerland once who said that in his home country they all wear: Swatches[^] Leave it to him to ruin the fun. Really nice guy though. One of the few bosses I would not mind working for again.
OK, so after I turned it on, then the fun and games begin. I have to figure how to link and flash this device.
After that coding can commence. From a software point of view, the uC is pretty complex compared to 8-bit ones. I have been going through the docs[^] for the month or so, but I still dont understand much
I know the feeling. I've been going through the docs for the Rabbit module, and it's baffling. I've got a tcp/ip stack, and serial drivers, and samples of MODBUS master and slave modules, and not a single example of how to wire them together and connect them to my own custom app. None of the samples are really usable without extensive rewrites, and I'm looking forward to that, but it would be nice to see one example that ties the various pieces together in some industry-standard way.
But then, what would be the fun in doing something I already know how to do?
