Once again the yearly physical onslaught was attempted, but this time, I had a secret weapon: Doing some seriously hard training including 2 hour hikes and cycles in some local mountains and a lot of daily 12 minute steep ascents.
Part of the monstrosity I'm currently working on wanted the ability to page through columns of a table - first column must always show, then one of the others. That was part of the solution - I just need to update the number in the second :not for each column. So, functional at the moment.
First post after a day NotInThePub, working on a trial basis for the company I had the interview with. Seems not too bad! . Mentioned a way of doing tests using ATE they liked . Met a customer that had an idea for a product that seemed interesting (read so bloombin' weird that only he and a friend wanted one) but do-able. Sadly discussion of money is for tomorrow (talk of covering costs at least!) but all good , need as it has been a little while since I have had to whole early morning thing...
But I must say working for a company, for any amount of time, without talking compensation first seems a bit odd. Then again I've not looked for employment for a long time, things may be different these days.
