The Lounge is rated Safe For Work. If you're about to post something inappropriate for a shared office environment, then don't post it. No ads, no abuse, and no programming questions. Trolling, (political, climate, religious or whatever) will result in your account being removed.
Please, read the message at the top of the page!
This is not the place for technical questions.
Try here: http://www.codeproject.com/Questions/ask.aspx[^] - but give more information! We don't do your homework, so show us what you have tried to fulfill your task, and explain where you are stuck. If you meet a specific problem, then please ask about that and we will do our best to help. But we aren't going to do it all for you!
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...
I'm sorry that your first experience of the lounge broke the forum guidelines and the residents pounced on you. Please don't let this put you off what can be an excellent resource. Before you reask your question, there are some points you need to consider.
As this is homework, you must have covered most of this in your course already. Take a look back through your notes - they should help.
Don't try to write the code if you don't actually understand the problem fully. By this I mean that you should spend time thinking about the problem and then break the requirements up into smaller parts until you fully understand all the requirements.
Don't make any assumptions. Where is the data coming from? Is it a traditional database? Is it flat files? Excel? What format are you going to get the user name in?
Before you ask questions, make sure you provide sufficient details for us to help. For instance, your question missed out things such as which technology you are using. We can't see your homework sheet and monitor, so we would be making assumptions.
A little over 16,000 references[^]. Now, I am assuming that you were having a problem forming your question to search. My approach was to take the key phrases from your question and plug that into Google, so I searched for Socks5 Reverse Proxy Using C++.
