For the last year I am listening to the large and loud construction site right outside the office. This while trying to decipher the totally weird and convoluted inter-process frameworky error messages in this Python application. If you think that's negative, wait till I get to the negative bits!

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, navigate a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. I'm no fan of country music and normally won't listen to it, except when working (concentrating) ... in the background it doesn't annoy, distract or make me turn up/down songs I like/don't like, it's just there to kill the silence, and it's proper music by artists with talent & ability.
In terms of music I listen to when I just want music then it's 70's - 90's rock.
long winded draggy tunes annoy me and rapping always give me the sh*ts (can't stand crap that takes forever to go anywhere and/or requires little talent.)
This internet thing is amazing! Letting people use it: worst idea ever!
