Flat Design Is Taking Over, I Guess
The new design seems to be copying the "metro" or flat look and I really don't think it looks good.
The old books had an actual recognizable style.
The new ones look like generic non-style to me.
Speaking of books, I was at a Barnes & Noble last weekend and figured I would see what new programming books they had. There must have been over 3 shelves dedicated to Python, and no C# offerings...nothing Visual Studio, and nothing VB either! Things have changed since I last bought a technical/programming book in 2011.

Hey, have you been to my local B&N?
That's the same books they have here at ours.
We have some Java books too, but that is because we are very close to a University and as we all know Universities try to use old technology. They definitely don't want students entering the work market with current skills.
