Windows 7 end of life (extended) is sometime in 2020, I think.
The start of the year actually, mainstream versions only get the first patch Tuesday of the year (January 14, 2020). Enterprise versions can have 3 more years of increasingly expensive (was hundreds/pc/year for XP) paid patching. Embedded versions have their own longer support life cycles based on when they were released but generally in the mid 2020's. For a really scary thought the last embedded XP versions still have a few months of support left.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?
Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint. You like that? You go right on staring at it. I prefer looking at galaxies.
