had the same, an ant got in between the lcd and plastic (protective I guess) cover.
figured it would find it's way out, next day still there, 2 days later sigh, still there
... so I figured try nudging it out: big mistake, dead ant stuck in not quite middle of the screen.
ok, crack open the screen (and of course left burrs in the edge/crack where I pried off the front bezel).
luckily plans to replace were already in place.
anyway - moral of the story: if there's a bug in your screen don't poke at it.

that gets cold I had a small spider that decided to keep warm inside my ProArt 27 inch
