Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can be counted counts.
This is really the truth of measuring your value. You can't really tell, because things that are infinitely important may not be counted at all. Other things that the market deems important may be measured and you have none of it.
Well, maybe seeing ca. 20K hits/day on the web pages (all web applications that are used to do company business) and hundreds of users spending their time staring at my screens puts the work at some definite value. That it's totally adaptable to new company "brain storms"*
With so many people dependent upon it, it must be worth something.

I've almost wanted to after the hell i got from VS2017 tonight. I've practically given up writing syntax highlighting into my newt VS integration. The VSIX projects are just godawful. I'd deal with that, but they don't even work!
When I was growin' up, I was the smartest kid I knew. Maybe that was just because I didn't know that many kids. All I know is now I feel the opposite.
I'm dabbling with the idea of contracting my sales projects offshore since I'm getting real busy now. My new marketing tools and ads are producing lots of phone calls and RFP's locally in my area.
I have one contractor from India I'm thinking of using, he came to America last week to visit and introduce himself. But He pitched one thing and his technical partner in India is saying another. Now all of a sudden they are in sync.
I know some of you hear on CP reside in India, and other countries. I need to figure if these guys are legit, or if their outsourcing to another company and they just do the sales. And I need to find some more sources in case this first deal falls apart.
These guys are in Kochi India. I won't mention the name of the company yet, but would like some recon intelligence before I submit my RFP quotes.
Any help would be appreciated!

There are good professionals in India, I don't discuss that. But in my experience, they are the minority.
If you are not 100% sure... don't do it.
If you do it because they are cheaper, don't forget that if you pay peanuts, you will only get monkeys.
Just some additional aspects...
different horary: Difficult to get live meetings.
different philosophy: Just look here in CP, 90% of the plagiarism come from a group of countries (including india)
different quality: (as I said, there are a lot of really good professionals, but relationally, they are a low %)
If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?

Just mention that you would also like to visit them to better understand how they can help you and
get the address,further just do a google earth search on them and see if they are located in a proper
office space, there are usually "techno parks" that provide sorta infrastructure and office space.
Check if they have the resources or the capability to do what they are saying and can produce
the expected results.Also their mode of delivery and demo of sample projects or case studies etc.
You can further ask/insistent for three client reference in the US and client contact persons
you can call and ask about their performance and delivery.Also you can ask for updated resumes of the
developers in their company and do fact checking.
Usually the sales guy may not know much technical stuff so he would say ya we can do that
and this , you can even say you would like to set up a interview with their delivery team
and try to understand how they would architecture a solution for you based on on a sample RFP
and how many months it would take them and what is the deployment model...etc...you can
get a judgement from the responses and conclude
