Nope, that's not PC. Even back in the '80s my Dad was told to change all occurrences in his warehouse management system from male/female to inner/outer
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, navigate a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. I once created a list of all the film formats I had been using in the days of silver photography (/home movies).
A list of all the home video tape formats that I have got in my basement.
A list of all the digital storage media formats (starting with 8 channel paper tape!)
A list of hard disk interface standards that I have been using over the years.
A list of computer peripheral interface standards (screen, keyboard, mouse, MIDI, ...)
A list of document file formats in which I have produced my own documents.
A list of network communication protocols I have used for transferring data betwen computers
Some of these have major and minor entries, such as document file formats that are technically different, but handled by the same application (such as .doc/.docx). Some have a common core, but e.g. SCSI was used with 14 different plugs (when I had to buy an adapter for my eight of those, I decided to never more buying any SCSI equipment).
Most of the lists ended up at least two to three times as long as I would ever have dreamt of. When I then think of all the standards that I have skipped, and stuck to the old established one for a few more years (but friends and colleagues couldn't understand why I was so stubborn), it gives me a feeling of "standard" being another name for "fad".
Ours will play fetch with a toy. Once.
I throw, he chases, he brings back.
I throw, he looks at me as if to say "I just brought you that. If you wanted it so much, why did you throw it?" and wanders off to kill something.

Mornings are for sleeping and, if I'm awake, like now, procrastination.
Afternoons are... Alright.
But the main work gets done after dinner, if I can get myself to sit back behind my desk that is
If it were up to me I'd sleep until 11 or 12 and wouldn't go to bed until at least 3
Unfortunately, our society is based around morning people, and it's expected of you to be at the office at 9 and go out at 5 and sit in traffic with the rest of the world who're all forced to that same schedule.
Sleeping until late is, without any context, considered lazy and immature.
It pisses me off sometimes, but I can get little sympathy.
"Just set your alarm and get out at 7, like the rest of us."
"Why don't you just go to bed at 3 and we'll talk.", but that's just stupid
People suck, generally speaking.
