It sounds like he returned the deodorant to the shelf after licking it, which could spread the virus if he has it and is asymptomatic. But "making a terrorist threat"? It's certainly something, but the US justice system has gone right off the mofo-ing rails.
I am not an expert on the law, but actions have to meet well defined criteria to be classified as terrorism in the USA. Trying to scare society by spreading a dangerous biological substance in this manner can clearly be seen as a form of terrorism, at least here in the USA.

Same here. Quebec recently announced closure of all non-essential retailers. On the list of the essential were liquor stores and cannabis(!!). We've only had legal cannabis for recreational use for about 18 months, so how its got to essential in that time is open to speculation.
